Welcome to the u3a in Stowmarket
If you are no longer working full time or raising a family, now’s the time to make the most of life. Stowmarket u3a gives you the chance to develop your current interests, explore new ones, make new friends, and enjoy yourself.
The u3a movement, whose motto is "Learn, Laugh, Live", has been learning, staying active and having fun for 40 years. Stowmarket u3a is one of more than 1,000 u3as across the UK, and its members are enjoying continuing their creative, educational or social interests in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
Our activities cover three main areas:
Monthly Meetings
Held at the Salvation Army Hall in Stowmarket, these provide a wide variety of interesting talks and speakers on a range of subjects. Our current programme can be found here.
Interest Groups
